“Suncor’s announcement about moving contractors from camps into town has sparked increased investor activity across Wood Buffalo’s affordable housing market. June recorded 146 residential sales, up nearly 22% year over year while the median price fell to $402,750, largely because more condos, townhomes, and entry-level properties were sold.
Single-family sales also rose nearly 30%, with inventory down almost 25%, creating strong competition and multiple offers under $900,000. Above $900,000, buyers remain active but selective, making strategic pricing and presentation essential” - Paige Cyr
